Khaki Campbells are very good layers. It is an excellent forager and capable of sitting on and hatching its own eggs. Khakis or Khaki Campbells are known for being one of the best general-purpose ducks. They will have a mature weight of around 4-1/2 lbs. Khaki Campbells are excellent foragers and withstand cool climates very well. Our Khakis are between 3.5 to 4.5 pounds. Our Khaki Campbells are fairly good show type.

Production: Khaki Campbell ducks lay 165-210 duck eggs per year; the size of the eggs is 75 to 85 grams. Khaki Campbells are probably the best layers of all of the domestic duck breeds Light plumage makes them easy to pick and nice for table use. They have good mothering ability.
Colors:ß The female Khakis are seal brown and the males the same with touches of darker brown and a resemblance to the drake mallard.
History: The Khaki Campbell was developed in England at the turn of the century. Khaki Campbell ducks earned its reputation as an excellent egg layer in the 20s and 30s on the Jansen duck farm in Holland.
