Purely Poultry is looking to add to our Customer Care team. If you have an interest in poultry, and enjoy people, this may be the position for you. Purely Poultry provides poultry and related products to backyard poultry enthusiasts.

Role: Customer Care Advocate

Type: Independent Contractor

Location: Work from Home anywhere in the United States.

Department: Customer Care

Rate: $10.00 an hour

Hours:  20-25 hours a week between 12pm - 5pm Central time Monday through Friday. Optional extra hours may be available especially on Saturdays. Your shift time can be somewhat flexible depending on your needs and customer needs.

Length: January to September. May continue longer depending on sales volume.
Number of positions open: 1 possibly 2 depending on sales volume.

Responsibilities: Answering the phones, placing orders for customers, handling catalog requests, answer customer questions. provide customer support and other activities as needed.

Requirements:
Fast computer and internet required.
Must be able to learn how to use Skype, Gmail, Google Docs, and our order processing system.
High School Diploma required
Provide excellent customer service.
Experience with raising chickens.
Experience with other types of poultry is not required but is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Possess the ability to work well independently.
People skills - customer oriented, positive attitude, and team participation
Track own hours and submit an invoice twice a month on the 1st and the 15th for immediate payment.
