Green Egg Layers
These are the birds that lay the lovely green eggs. These are true Easter Egg Chickens. The egg shell is really green; the green color cannot be cleaned or rubbed off. The green egg genetics come from a tribe in Chile. The chicks will be multi-colored with a pea comb. These are available year round. Many hatcheries falsely call these Ameraucanas/ Araucanas. Other common names are Easter Eggers or Easter Egger and various mispellings ie Americana, americanas, aruacana etcetera. Ours are the same mixed colored crossbred Green Egg Layers that the hatcheries sell.
We do offer Silver Duckwing Ameraucanas, Black Ameraucanas, and Wheaten Ameraucana Bantams that lay blue eggs.
