Mareks Vaccine

Marek's vaccine is a minimum of $10.00. If you have 101+ chicks it is $0.15 per chick. Marek’s is a widespread disease affecting chickens worldwide. If a bird has Marek’s it will have lesions affecting the nervous system, organs, and other tissues. Chickens under 16 weeks of age are most susceptible. There is no treatment for Marek’s once the birds are infected. Chicks must be vaccinated as close to the time of hatch as possible for the vaccine to be effective. We believe in giving you the option to have yours vaccinated. Vaccinating your birds for Marek's is an appropriate step in strong poultry management.
