Tenessee Red Quail are muted Bobwhites and ideal for dog training and/or hunting preserves. very aggressive and cannot be raised with other quail or game birds. They whistle like the bobwhite but are red in color with black dots. Shipped April through September and sold in lots of 100 chicks only. These bobwhite are good for early-release birds. The Tennessee Red Bobwhite has high speed and agility in flight. They have a higher resistance to disease. They are bred for superior size and flight performance and are very popular. We also carry Fresh and Fertile Tennessee Red Bobwhite eggs for the incubator. Hens are solid mahoghany with dark peppering on their backs with little white bibs on their chest. The males usually have black masks.
