Columbian Plymouth Rock Chickens are a beautiful version of the esteemed dual-purpose breed we know and love. Known for both its high-quality meat and its large brown eggs, this docile breed makes for the perfect backyard chicken. Columbian Plymouth Rocks have a single comb and tolerate both hot and cold climates well. 

Columbian Plymouth Rock Chickens are a friendly, easily-tamed breed. They are ideal backyard chickens, as they tend to get along well with both pets and people. This breed is not aggressive, making it a perfect addition to a family-friendly poultry farm. High fencing is not necessary, as all Plymouth Rock Chickens are not adept at flying. Although they do enjoy running freely and are good foragers, this breed does not require a lot of space.

 This is a truly prominent and beautiful breed. As the name implies, this variety of the Plymouth Rock has white feathering with black flecks in the neck, saddle, wing, and tail feathers, with the tail being more prominently black than that of the body.  These chickens have a yellow skin color with yellow legs and beak, and red facial coloring.
