Dear valued customers and friends of Purely Poultry, It is with a heavy heart that we must temporarily close our doors until further notice. We have recently experienced a difficult time with our owner, who was involved in a serious car accident earlier this month. Unfortunately, Shannon has suffered a brain injury and we are currently unsure of the extent of the damage. Shannon is the heart and soul of our family-owned and operated business, and every member of our team is part of the family. We appreciate all of the prayers, well wishes, and patronage that we have received from our loyal customers during this trying time. Your support means the world to us and we are grateful for your kindness. We hope to reopen Purely Poultry in the future, with Shannon back at the helm. The Snowflake Bobwhite Quail are a special and rare color variant of the Bobwhite Quail, originated from the Mexican Speckled Bobwhite Quail. These very special birds are the result of one breeder's luck and his ability to recognize that he had stumbled upon an amazing new mutation of the Bobwhite Quail. We are very excited to offer them as they are very difficult to find and extremely rare!

Snowflake Bobwhite Quail are one of the miniature Ptarmigans that are just in between spring and winter molts. Snowflake Bobwhite Quail are mostly white with dark speckles, like little v's all over. Males and females are very similar in color, but males have more black in their facial markings.
